Dr. Amokrane Chebini

Neurologist & Neuromuscular Disease Specialist

Dr. Amokrane Chebini completed his neurology residency training at the University of British-Columbia in Vancouver in 2023. He quickly developed an interest in EMG and neuromuscular medicine, which prompted him to completed a 1 year clinical neuromuscular and EMG fellowship at the University of Calgary in Calgary. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and CSCN (EMG).

He was however excited to come back to British-Columbia to practice in the Lower Mainland. He has a full-time practice at Richmond Hospital where he is the EMG Medical Director and currently does a combination of EMG/Neuromuscular clinics, Rapid Access Neurology Clinical and call at the hospital. However, he is excited to join the Neurologik clinic, working along other passionate neuromuscular specialists and neurologists. 

When not at work, you will find Dr. Chebini riding his road bike along the Lower Mainland or training on his smart trainer.
